A1 ANGLERS - ANGLER INFORMATION
ANGLER REQUIREMENTS:
- Anglers are required to be in 6th to 12th grade.
- To be on the team you are required to have two Anglers, a Captain (that can drive the boat), and at least one of the Anglers, and/or the Captain must own a boat or have access to a boat.
- The season starts in August and ends in May. One tournament a month, practice is at the captain's discretion. Tournament schedule will be released late-July. A1 Anglers is a club sport not a class offered by the middle or high school.
- After our first meeting for the season, team meetings will be on the Monday before each tournament.
Meeting time: 6:00 pm
Meeting place: Mt. Pisgah Church, 101 Pisgah Rd, Easley, SC 29642. - Required to attend Wren Middle School, Wren High School, Powdersville Middle School, Powdersville High School, or be Home Schooled in the Wren and Powdersville zones.
- Required to follow school policies during all fishing events including practice.
- Required to maintain a passing grade.
- Respect your boat Captain and his boat.
- The cost for the 2025-2026 Season is $150 per angler.
* Also please make sure you take care of your boat Captain throughout the season. He puts gas in the boat and truck to get you back and forth to your events. - Age 16 and older will be required to hold a SC state fishing license and any other state fishing license within the tournament schedule.
- Required to join Bassmaster High School. See discount link below.
- Required to complete the following Angler Registration Google form. - (A Boat, Captain and Partner are required for team participation.)
- Required to complete PBC Liability Form (Coming Soon).
- Highly recommended to complete SC DNR Boater Safety Course.
JOIN US FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON
$150 Angler Registration Fee can be paid by cash, Venmo, or check to Wren Bass Team. Includes jersey, trail fees and tournament food.
